After a brutal crash on day one at Trig, day two of Rocky Trail’s Mogo Mania Superflow brought a whole new challenge. Dan and I were joined by fellow Victorian rider Mick (64), and the three of us spent the morning pushing hard on some of Mogo’s fastest trails. These trails are hard packed, lightning quick, and unforgiving, which meant we had to adapt fast.
After the first lap, we made the call to pump up our tyres for extra speed, and it paid off. With every run, we grew more familiar with the trails, and our times started dropping. The adrenaline was pumping, the competition was fierce, and the chase for a podium finish was on.
The video captures the highs and lows of the day – from finding the flow and shaving seconds off each lap to the pressure mounting with every new run. For me, it became a battle not only with the clock but also with my own limits as I worked to climb back from a fourth-place finish the day before.
The afternoon brought even more intensity as positions shifted and riders pushed to their limits. By the final run of the day, it all came down to one last chance to secure a podium spot. Did I make it? That’s the suspense that carries through to the very end of the video.
This is Superflow racing at its finest – fast, unpredictable, and packed with drama. If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to ride Mogo’s trails under race conditions, this video will put you right there in the saddle with us.
