The Silvan Superflow lived up to its reputation with a mix of speed, mistakes, and surprises. Coming into the weekend I wasn’t sure how my back would hold up, but the bike was dialled thanks to fresh suspension from Breakaway Suspension and new brakes bedded in the night before.
Day one started with Temple of Zoom, Bakers Delight, and then Downhill. Early runs were all about warming up and shaving seconds, with a big improvement on the second lap of each stage. A migraine threatened to derail the day, but I managed to push through and lock in a strong set of times.
Day two brought rain across the Silvan trails, and many competitors packed it in by lunchtime. Podiums were moved forward, and with second place secured, I wrapped up the weekend with a spot on the box.
