Maryvale Pines MTB: A Nostalgic Archive

STATUS: Premanently Closed

As of recently, the trails at Maryvale Pines have been permanently closed to the public. While the tyre tracks may eventually fade, the memories of fast flow and pine-lined descents remain a significant part of our local mountain biking history.

I have decided to keep this page active for the time being as a digital archive. Please enjoy the photos and videos as a tribute to the trail network we once loved. Note that access is no longer permitted, so please respect the closure and look to our other regional guides for your next ride.

Future Access and Trail Restoration

Once logging operations are complete, trail managers and volunteers plan to assess and restore the network to ensure it’s safe, sustainable, and ready for riders. Check back closer to April 2026 for updates on trail conditions, new routes, and possible re-openings.

When Maryvale Pines reopens, riders will again be able to enjoy a compact yet rewarding loop through Gippsland’s pine forest — perfect for XC enthusiasts and casual riders alike.
