Maryvale Pines Mountain Bike Trails

STATUS: Closed for Logging Until April 2026

The Maryvale Pines MTB Trails are currently closed for logging operations until April 2026. Riders are asked to respect the closure and avoid entering the area to ensure safety and support future access once works are complete. Trail conditions and access points may change during this period, and updated maps will be published closer to reopening.

About Maryvale Pines

Nestled in the scenic foothills near Moe, Victoria, Maryvale Pines has long been a local favourite for riders chasing fast, flowing singletrack through dense pine plantations. The compact network features a mix of intermediate cross-country and flow-style trails, making it ideal for riders looking to build endurance or enjoy quick laps after work.

Before the closure, Maryvale Pines offered:

  • Smooth, rolling XC trails with moderate climbs

  • Loamy forest sections providing excellent traction year-round

  • A quiet, natural setting away from busier trail networks

The area has served as a key link in Gippsland’s growing MTB scene, providing easy access from Moe, Morwell, and Traralgon.

Future Access and Trail Restoration

Once logging operations are complete, trail managers and volunteers plan to assess and restore the network to ensure it’s safe, sustainable, and ready for riders. Check back closer to April 2026 for updates on trail conditions, new routes, and possible re-openings.

Plan Your Ride (Post-Closure)

When Maryvale Pines reopens, riders will again be able to enjoy a compact yet rewarding loop through Gippsland’s pine forest — perfect for XC enthusiasts and casual riders alike.
