Fresh Dirt: A Top-to-Bottom Run at the New Warburton Bike Park

The wait is over—the Warburton Bike Park has officially landed, and it’s a game-changer for mountain biking in Victoria.

Before the massive Stage 2 expansion opens this April, I’ve been spending some time getting familiar with the initial trail network. This first video features a seamless combination of two of my favourite sections: Tools Down and Milling Around.

The Flow of Tools Down Starting high up, Tools Down offers that classic, high-speed flow that Warburton is quickly becoming famous for. The trail builders have done an incredible job with the drainage and berm shapes, making it feel fast and secure even for those first-time laps.

Connecting into Milling Around The transition into Milling Around keeps the momentum high but you can expect a bit of a pedal. It’s a technical yet accessible stretch that showcases the diverse terrain the Yarra Valley has to offer.

What’s Next? This is just the first of three videos I’ll be dropping from the current park layout. I’ve already booked my shuttles for the Stage 2 opening weekend in April, so stay tuned for some absolute heaters when the new trails go live.
