Hokey Pokey is one of the newer trails at Mystic Bike Park, offering riders a fun, flowing descent through the pine forest. This intermediate-rated trail is packed with fast, sweeping turns and natural features that keep the excitement high from start to finish. While not as technical as some of Mystic’s more challenging trails, Hokey Pokey delivers a thrilling mix of berms, rollers, and small jumps that make it an excellent addition to the park’s growing network of flow trails.

Located near Flowmingo and Old English, Hokey Pokey can be a little tricky to find if you’re not familiar with the area. Riders should pay attention to the trail signage or check a GPS map to ensure they take the correct turn. Once on the trail, expect a smooth ride with plenty of opportunities to build speed and keep momentum flowing through the corners. It’s an ideal choice for riders looking to link up trails for a longer descent or those wanting a break from Mystic’s more intense downhill tracks.

In our ride, we took a wrong turn and ended up exploring a few extra fire roads before finally tracking down the trailhead. The effort was well worth it, as Hokey Pokey proved to be a great ride with plenty of high-speed fun.

Whether you’re visiting Mystic for the first time or a regular at the park, Hokey Pokey is a must-ride if you enjoy fast, flowy singletrack with a mix of natural and sculpted terrain. Be sure to check it out next time you hit the trails!
