Silvan MTB park has three locations to choose from, Grey Gums, Silvan Trailhead and Mt Evelyn Oval.
Grey Gums car park provides the best access to the main trails at Silvan MTB Park. Just follow the signage to Silvan Reservoir and drive past the dam wall turn-off until you get to the dirt road. Grey Gums is about 100 metres further down.
This main carpark on Olinda Creek Road is past Grey Gums and a little closer to some of the beginner trails and the iconic Lyer Lyer.
If Bottlecaps and True Grit are more your style of riding then the Mt Evelyn Oval is your best bet for parking. The climb up is grueling but you won't have to navigate through the whole park to access these legendary trails.
The lesser ridden trails around Huds track can be explored by parking around RJ Hamer Arboretum.
No commercial shuttles operate at Silvan MTB Park. However, locals self-shuttle Bottlecaps by organising a pick-up at Mt Evelyn oval and driving to the top of Inverness Road.
