You Yangs MTB Park has two main riding locations. For anyone starting out will find the family-friendly Plantation a great place to start. For more advanced riders head to Stockyards.
The Drysdale Road car park is your best bet if it's gravity trails you're after. There's ample parking and some basic facilities including port-a-loos. Expect to pedal a while to get to the top of the hill with Rockwell or Cressy Gully Road your best climbing options to the top of the trails.
If you plan to ride at Plantation your best bet is to drive into the park a little where there's a dedicated mountain bike car park with basic facilities including shelter, drop toilets and picnic table.
No commercial shuttles operate at You Yangs MTB Park but the local MTB club runs monthly shuttles. Club members get offered places first before being opened to the public. Keep an eye on their socials to find out when the next shuttle day is.
Self-shuttling is not practical or possible.
